I love the track from which this entry is named. It's featured on Jackson Browne's album "I'm Alive" which served to air his feelings surrounding the breakup of his relationship with actress Daryl Hannah. He hasn't written anything as good before or since. Pain informed this work of rare eloquence and beauty.
On a totally unrelated note, I'm having difficulty leaving comments at quite a few of the blogs here. I can read them just can't leave a comment without being informed I've encountered an error and would I like to send an Error Report? The next thing I know is I'm offline. It's a bummer but there you go.
I saw a digital camera today selling in Argos. It's an Hitachi and has £100 off the original selling price. I think I might go and get it. I miss taking photographs and it will give me a focus (no pun intended!) I had quite an eye for a picture when living in Australia. The backdrop isn't quite as stunning here but I'll make that my challenge. I also want to get a Paint Shop application so I can turn the pictures taken into black and white and sepia should I need to. We have a large park locally and there are some lovely little areas there. There's a Mansion House, a pond, beautiful trees and tons of wildlife.
Tomorrow I'm off to the Car Boot Sales to see what I can pick up. I haven't been this year at all. I'm always amazed at what people sell and more amazed at what people will buy. Last time I was going regularly, there was a woman who sold items every week and she would literally just pile them up and let people rummage through them. I never saw anything out of the ordinary there but she never took less than £50 each week whereas I'd see others who were really struggling and with goods I thought were more select and better presented. It takes all sorts I suppose.
I've also just discovered - jelly babies give me terrible stomach ache!!!!!!
